aMBUSH Gallery and Cockle Bay Wharf together with leading Australian artists – Kid Zoom, Ghostpatrol, James Jirat Patradoon and Deb raised $14,800 for Information and Cultural Exchange to help disadvantaged kids in western Sydney access creative media and arts programs.
The third Project 5 charity street art auction was lead by Head of Art and specialist auctioneer Anne Phillips of Leonard Joel auctioneers and valuers.
The one-off works were created over the weekend (25-27 February) at Cockle Bay Wharf. The total raised over the three Project 5’s is now $39,800. Previous artists have included Anthony Lister, Meggs, Ears, WeBuyYourKids, Ben Frost, Shannon Crees, Beastman and Phibs.
Guests included MC Tom Tilley, of Triple J’s Hack, and special guest speaker Andrew Johnstone of Semi-Permanent, Design is Kinky and EMPTY magazine.
