aMBUSH Gallery has been nominated as a National Finalist of the 2011 Australia Council Young and Emerging Arts Award to be held in Perth at the National AbaF Awards.

Back in September, aMBUSH received the NSW and ACT AbaF Award and we were really thrilled.

The award recognises the partnerships developed by aMBUSH Gallery for Project 5 (see past events for more information). Project 5 has raised over $40k in donations for ICE and their work with youth over the last two years and is a red hot collaboration between ICE, aMBUSH Gallery, Cockle Bay Wharf, Leonard Joel Auction House (now Bay East Auctions and subsidiary of Sotheby’s Australia) and some of Australia’s best street artists like Kid Zoom, Anthony Lister, Ben Frost, Meggs, Shannon Crees, Deb, Beastman, Phibs, WeBuyYourKids, Ears, Ghostpatrol and James Jirat Patradoon.
